Volgend bericht ontvingen wij van onze Luxemburgse vrienden, in het Engels (vind u lager). Hier volgt de Nederlandse vertaling:
Beste bezoekende piloten,
vanwege recente en vroegere ernstige klachten over piloten die hun motorvoertuigen gebruiken om bij de startplaatsen te komen, is vanaf nu het volgende geldig:
Gringlay

- Op dit moment wordt de toegang tot de grindweg tot het opstijgen gerenoveerd met een speciale bekleding om toegang te bieden voor mensen met beperkte mobiliteit of met een kinderwagen naar de startplaats, die ook een populair toeristisch uitzichtspunt is, zoals u weet. Omdat de weg smal blijft, is het erg moeilijk om voetgangers voorbij te steken, of zelfs onmogelijk om mensen met beperkte mobiliteit of met kinderwagens te passeren.
- Daarom moeten we nu alle toegang van motorvoertuigen tot het opstijgen van Gringlay verbieden.
- Uitzonderingen zijn alleen toegestaan in geval van nood, onderhoud en opruiming van de startplaats.
- Een alternatieve parkeerplaats is beschikbaar in Delt (zie figuur.1) aan de kant van de weg naast de bushalte (600 m te voet van de startplaats) of op de betonnen parkeerplaats naast het officiële landingsterrrein in Bourscheid-Moulin.

- Hou er rekening mee dat rijden met een motorvoertuig op een bosweg verboden is door de Luxemburgse wetgeving.
- Hou er ook rekening mee dat dit een zeer gevoelige kwestie is voor de autoriteiten van de natuur- en bosadministratie, wat het gebruik van de start van Michelau in de toekomst in gevaar zou kunnen brengen als we de wet blijven schenden.
- Uitzonderingen zijn alleen toegestaan in geval van nood, onderhoud en opruiming van de startplaats.
- Parkeren is mogelijk naast de watertank net voor u het bos ingaat (300 m stappen van de startplaats).

- Aangezien er geen directe toegang beschikbaar is met de auto, is er geen speciale instructie vereist voor deze vliegplaats.
Omdat dit alles erg belangrijk is voor ons allen om onze startsites te behouden, zal elke niet-naleving van een Cumulux-lid leiden tot onmiddellijke uitsluiting. Bezoekende piloten die zich niet aan deze richtlijnen houden, mogen in de toekomst niet meer starten vanaf een Cumulux-vliegplaats.

Dear guests,
due to past and recent serious complaints about pilots using their motor vehicles to drive to the take-off location the following is valid from now on :
Gringlay

- At the moment the access gravel road to the take-off is being refurbished with a special pavement to allow access for persons with reduced mobility or baby carriage to the take-off area, which is also a popular touristic viewpoint as you know. Since the road remains narrow it is very difficult to pass pedestrians if not impossible to pass persons with reduced mobility or baby carriage.
- We therefore must prohibit all motorized vehicle access to the Gringlay take-off from now on.
- Exceptions are only allowed in case of emergency, maintenance and clean-up of the take-off site.
- Alternative parking is available in Delt (see fig.1) on the side of the road next to the bus-stop (600m walk to the take-off) or on the concrete parking area next to the official landing place in Bourscheid-Moulin.

- Please be reminded that driving with a motorized vehicle on a forest track is prohibited by law in Luxembourg.
- Please also understand that this is a very sensitive issue for the authorities of the ‘Administration de la nature et des forêts’ and this may put the usage of the Michelau take-off at risk in the future, if we continue to not respect the law.
- Exceptions are only allowed in case of emergency, maintenance and clean-up of the take-off site.
- Parking is available next to the water-reservoir before entry to the forest. (300m walk to the take-off)

- Since no direct access is available by car, no special instructions are needed for this site.
Since this is very important to all of us, to maintain our take-off sites alive, any non-respect of a Cumulux member will lead to immediate exclusion. Guest pilots not respecting this, will no longer be allowed to take-off from any Cumulux Site in the future.
